About the barn

The Barn at Hilltop Acres is an elegant barn venue full of southern charm. The barn overlooks a picturesque pond and is nestled among mature rows of pines on 300 acres, located in Monticello, Florida. This land was once a row crop and cattle farm that has been in the Thomson family since the 1920s. It is now a beautiful wedding venue to carry on the Thomson legacy. 

The barn is designed to accommodate all your needs, whether a small intimate gathering or an elaborate ceremony. We have paid great attention to detail to include elegant chandeliers, a vintage bridal suite, and a rustic groom’s parlor.
